How Blockchain works? Part 4

So in the past posts we discussed the blockchain different versions.

Blockchains ledgers sets up in a series of blocks which are connected with each other, all blocks within the mainchain are numbered from 0 . The first block to be created is the block that takes the number “ 0”, and is called the Genesis block.

As the chain forms, some diversions happens, leading to a branched chain to appear, which is called the “Fork” chain.

To get info on a specific chain, you can check, and search by block number to see detailed info like:

Hash, Confirmations, Timestamp, Height, Miner, Number of Transactions, Difficulty, Merkle root, Version, Bits, Weight, Size, Nonce, Transaction Volume, Block Reward, Fee Reward
